Fault

Because we fight ...



                                                               Fault

                         
                                                     -- It's not my fault !
                                                     -- Nor mine !
                                                     -- Who is to blame ?
                                                     -- Somebody ... but not me !


                                               Everything starts from mistakes ...
                                               Garden of Eden,
                                               a seed's impatience for sunlight
                                               naive dream of baby-bird to conquer the sky.

                                              One day trance obviates --
                                              Adam and Eve are driven away
                                              sapling is trampled
                                              thunder-storm breaks wings !

                                              Inevitable fight follows;
                                              words fly like bullets --
                                              swords draw 
                                              grotesque paintings
                                              with scarlet.
                                              Winners go home 
                                              shining their pride.
                                             
                                              But we neglect
                                              to bridge chasms --
                                              mistakes repeat
                                              things break before they can break.

                                              When there is nobody to blame,
                                              I sit by open sky and contemplate
                                              was it my fault
                                              or fault was there and
                                              I forgot to build the bridge ?
