My Charming Man
Tears were not the things to find
way inside, his heart was waterproof
Like synthetic skin-tight outfits
improve with rain, showers of emotions
infused more vigor in his nerves
He eyed me with satisfaction,
begged to try earnest :
It opens lungs, sweetens countenance
exercises eyes, and softens down temper
So, cry away !
